Read Away Camp

 If you’ve ever wished you could spend a weekend tucked away in a cabin with your favourite books, cozy outfits, good food, and great company— then welcome to Read Away Camp 

 Wilson's Coastal Club Resort is a gem of a property located on St Margaret's Bay Road just 25 minutes outside of Halifax.

There are eight cottages onsite that will all be reserved for our group. Each cottage comes with everything you will need for the weekend including a fireplace in each cottage. There are hot tubs, a cedar sauna and a private beach for you to use at your leisure all weekend long. If you're feeling the need for some movement and space the St. Margaret Bay Trails are just across from the resort.

Accessible accommodations are available, just let us know what you need and we will make it happen.

We’ve got all the good stuff covered so you can fully relax, read, and recharge.

• A single, double, or triple occupancy room in a shared cozy cottage
   
• Two surprise books (audio, kindle or paper copy) sent to you before the weekend (for our book club sessions!)
   
• A welcome reception — drinks included, of course
   
• Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner — all delicious
   
• Sunday breakfast to fuel your final morning
   
• Full access to the hot tubs, sauna, and private beach all weekend long
   
• Group activities sprinkled throughout the weekend
   

All activities are optional — no pressure, no schedules, no FOMO (unless you count fear of missing out on reading time).

Single Occupancy Room (1 person, 1 Queen bed)          $975 +HST per person-Sold Out

Double Occupancy Room (2 people, 1 Queen bed)          $750+HST per person

Triple Occupancy Room (3 people, 1 Queen Bed, 1 Cot)  $650 +HST per person-Sold Out

$300 Deposit required at time of booking, the rest of your payment is due by January 2nd.

 Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, travel delays, illness or injury. If you cancel your weekend getaway for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for certain circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc) unfortunately we are unable to do so. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in case your plans change.
