"Practical Magic" has been a beloved cult classic since the 1990s, and its themes of feminine energy, inner joy, and soulful connection feel more relevant than ever in today’s world.

With the approach to Halloween we honour Samhain (pronounced SAH-win)—the ancient Celtic pagan festival that marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of the darker half of the year. Samhain is a liminal time, when the veil between this world and the otherworld is thinnest. 

It invites us to reflect, release, and prepare for the season ahead while paying tribute to the light that has passed. It is also a time for good old fashioned fun! With a touch of witchy charm, we’ll honour the season through food, drink, and joyful connection.

Let us bring the enchantment of Practical Magic to life, offering you a space to remember who you are—with laughter, intention, and a little bit of magic. This event is 19+.

Note on Inclusivity: At Main Character Events, everyone belongs. We proudly welcome all races, genders, sexualities, bodies, abilities, and identities. This is a space where you are seen, celebrated, and safe—just as you are. 

Everything you’ll need for a luxurious long weekend is included:

• Single, double or triple occupancy room in a shared cottage
   
• Welcome reception with drinks included
   
• Breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday
   
• Dinner on Friday and Saturday evening with drinks included
   
• Breakfast on Sunday morning
   
• Evening entertainment on both Friday and Saturday
   
• Workshops and activities throughout the weekend
   
• Full access to hot tubs, sauna and the resort's private beach all weekend long

All activities are optional, you’re absolutely welcome to take time for yourself whenever you need it.

Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, travel delays, illness or injury. If you cancel your weekend getaway for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for certain circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc) unfortunately we are unable to do so. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in case your plans change.
